Tree Bombs

Taking the Guerrilla gardening idea of ‘Seed Bombing’ to a new level – we formulated a plan to take Whitecross Street, London EC1, by siege. Dropping bombs into the urban environment might in other circumstances cause some concern, but these are bombs with a difference. Tree Bombs to be exact. Made out of reclaimed gas bottles, we fashioned 3 planters into the shape of ‘bombs’ that are presented flying down the street. Each carrying an established Olive Tree on board, to symbolise peace, and to illustrate the benefits of green reclaiming the unloved spaces in our cities. These were good news bombs, like never seen before in an urban environment.
