Therme Art invited EBS Creative Director; Mak Gilchrist, to join an online live-streamed panel discussion on the ‘Architecture of Health and happiness and the gains of collaborative design’. It provided a fascinating cross-section of multidisciplinary panellists all with their own unique insights and experiences to share. Synergies were found and as a result we have remained in contact with many of them.
The theme surrounded how the global pandemic has changed the way we inhabit, use, and view our cities. “In a matter of months, there has been a seismic shift in how we think about their impact on how we live, work, and come together. Happiness and wellbeing in the city have never been more topical. We now understand that healthy and sustainable cities are not only about infrastructure, air quality, modes of transport and other tangible qualities, but also about community support, diversity, cultural life, and rich experiences.”
The Therme Group is a leading global wellness company and an integrator of wellness and entertainment concepts focused on revolutionising the health and wellbeing industry. Read more here
